And did you run each one over subsequently??

Seriously though, CDs have turned out to be decently hard to make unplayable and yours of 1987 is nearly 40 years old....not bad for something that flimsy looking. Still got a long way to go to beat the age of 78rpm records though. They started heavy manufacturing of them in about 1890 and I have a couple in my collection nearly that old 130 years! Mind you, strength is not their strong point......driving over a shellac record would have exactly the effect you expect!!
